“There are so many great places to eat in Martinez from fast food to nice “sit-down” restaurants and the convenience and proximity to Augusta and Evans gives even more choices.”

Nearby grocery stores and other conveniences:
“I usually shop at Kroger on Columbia Rd for weekly groceries but Food Lion is nearby for a quick pick up when I just need a couple of things from the grocery store. Vogue Cleaners is right on Belair near Columbia Road and does a great job. Shell gas & Jiffy Lube are right up the street and there are numerous wonderful churches to support any faith within a couple of miles.”

What did you love about your property when you bought it?
“I fell in love with all the wood in the house. It really felt like home to me. I didn’t mind the hill as I found a great yard man in Tim Hobbs who keeps the yard looking good and sitting on the porch looking out on the neighborhood is so nice and peaceful.”

Please provide an estimate of your monthly utility bills:
“Utilities have always been pretty reasonable in this house. I got on budget billing right away with Georgia Power and GA Natural Gas which run about $90 each. Columbia County Water is less than $45 per month even with the sprinkler system operating in the hottest summer months. I used Waste Management for a weekly garbage pickup at $85 per quarter (about $28 per month).”
